ATL | Midtown Cozy Korean Noodle & Bibimbap Spot 🍜🥗
While shopping at Trader Joe's, I stumbled upon this low-key Korean eatery—Umma Kitchen in Midtown! 🏠 The sign may be modest, but inside it’s warm, tidy, and full of casual charm. We ordered at a self-service kiosk and picked up at the counter. Their Korean ramyeon selection (all $8.99) is displayed along the wall 🍜—my kids picked Shin Ramyun and Ansung Tangmyun. The broth was rich, deeply flavored, and seriously spicy 🌶️—definitely not your average instant noodles! My son loved it. I went for the Korean chicken bibimbap ($12.99) with tapioca noodles instead of rice—light, fresh, and loaded with veggies 🥒🥕. A healthy and satisfying choice! They also serve boba milk tea 🧋(my kid drank it all—no comments on sweetness from me!), salad bowls, and poke bowls—great for health-conscious diners. 💪 As the weather turns chilly ❄️, there was something special about hearing the Korean auntie call out our hot noodles from the kitchen, followed by the soft-spoken uncle asking in Korean if we enjoyed our meal—all with K-pop playing softly in the background. It felt like a scene straight out of Reply 1988 🎬❤️—so nostalgic and heartwarming. A simple, tasty spot perfect for a quick and comforting meal. 🏠 Umma Kitchen Midtown Atlanta 📍 931 Monroe Dr NE A101, Atlanta, GA 30308 #UmmaKitchen #KoreanComfort #RamyunLover #CozyEats #MidtownAtlanta #FamilyMeal
