Tucked in the heart of downtown, The Sparrow offers a stylish twist on Chinese dining — think elegant décor, artistic plating, and flavors that lean delightfully Sichuan! 🍽️🌶️ We started with Garlic Pork Slices and Dengying Beef Threads — the latter won us over with its sweet-spicy, crisp texture. 🥓👌 For mains, the Steamed Scallops with Garlic were plump and fragrant, and the Mao Xue Wang was a standout — rich, well-spiced, and loaded with tripe, blood cake, and veggies. 🍲🔥 The Peking Duck arrived in a beautiful three-tiered box, complete with caviar — a true presentation showstopper! 🦆🎁 We also enjoyed the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp and Chongqing Chicken Pot, all paired with fluffy rice or noodles. Though the staff is primarily non-Asian, the kitchen clearly knows its craft.
