ATL Eats: Middle Eastern Afghan Cuisine

Restaurant: Ariana Kabob House 🇦🇫 Located across from Vivi Seafood—a bit far for a special trip, but worth trying if you’re in the area. I only tried one item for takeout: Bolani, an Afghan stuffed flatbread with spiced mashed potatoes and scallions. 🌯🥔 It was delicious—slightly spicy, warmly seasoned, and so satisfying. Probably even better eaten fresh in the restaurant! A neighbor told me their kabobs and meats are also great—will definitely try next time I’m nearby. Side note: I recently came across a post about dating younger partners, which reminded me of something I overheard at a hot pot place. A table of college guys was loudly joking about an older woman interested in one of them—calling her names and acting disrespectful. 🙄 Using age to belittle someone says more about their own insecurity than anything else. If someone cares for you, regardless of age, that’s something to respect and appreciate—not mock.
