📍 Han Il Kwan (한일관) | Korean BBQ Restaurant 5458 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Atlanta — and the lovely ajummas (aunties) here make the experience even more special! 😍👵❤️ When they saw us about to grill our own meat, one rushed over waving her hands — “No no no, me me me!” — and took over with expert flair. Talk about attentive service… maybe she trained at Haidilao?! 🤣🔥 We ordered the samgyeopsal (pork belly), galbi (marinated short ribs), and bulgogi (sliced beef). Each cut was beautifully marbled, fresh, and grilled to juicy perfection. 🥩🍖 To complement, we got the haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) — crispy, fluffy, and loaded with goodies — and the haemul jeongol (seafood hot pot), which was an umami explosion! 🍲🦐🦀🐚 Filled with fish, shrimp, scallops, and crab, the broth was so rich and oceanic, it felt like the mother of the sea was dancing in my mouth 🌊💃. From the vibrant atmosphere and warm service to the consistently delicious food, Han Il Kwan is a place I’ll return to again and again.
