Atlanta|El Rey Del Taco Review 🌮

We really loved this taco spot—so much that we went back for another round just days after our first visit. That says it all! Here’s what we tried: Fajitas: Good and flavorful—what you'd expect from a solid Mexican joint. Carnitas taco: A bit underwhelming compared to others. Probably wouldn’t reorder. But the stars of the show were clearly these: 🌮 Tripa (Beef Tripe) Taco Crispy-edged, deeply savory—this was the standout of the meal. 🍍 Al Pastor Taco Juicy marinated pork with a hint of pineapple—so tasty and well-balanced. 🐖 Buche (Pork Stomach) Taco Soft, slightly chewy, and full of flavor—perfect for offal lovers. 🐄 Cabeza (Beef Cheek) & Lengua (Beef Tongue) Tacos Both incredibly tender. The beef cheek melts in your mouth, and the lengua is clean and delicious. 🐙 Pulpo (Octopus) Taco Tender and well-cooked—a solid choice for seafood fans. Overall, El Rey Del Taco isn’t about flash—it’s about consistently good, honest tacos that keep you coming back. Their offal tacos clearly outshine the basic meats, so order wisely and you’ll leave happy. Can’t wait to compare them to San Diego’s famous El Gordo later this year! ✈️🌮 #AtlantaEats #TacoReview #MexicanFood #ElReyDelTaco #TacoTuesday #OffalLovers #FoodieFinds #AuthenticTacos #AtlantaFoodScene #TravelEats #StreetFood #EatLocalATL #TacoTour #MustTryATL
