Papa's Dumpling (originally from JC Hmart’s Mama's Kitchen) serves what might be my favorite jajangmyeon in all of Atlanta! As someone who usually finds Korean black bean noodles too sweet, theirs strike the perfect savory-sweet balance — so good I finish the whole bowl every time. 😋 The pan-fried pork dumplings are also delicious, but today I tried their handmade fish dumplings (boiled) with their signature dipping sauce (a mix of sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic). You can really taste the freshness — no frozen dumpling comes close! It’s rare to find fish dumplings like these in the area, and these are truly special.
