Atlanta|Second Visit to Surina Thai – Still a Hit! 🍛🌶️

For Mother’s Day, I brought my mother-in-law to try Thai food—something she was curious but hesitant about. It was my second time here, so I felt confident, and she ended up loving it even more than Korean food! 😄👵💖 The restaurant is clean and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The weather was perfect, so many chose to dine outside—next time I’m joining them! You can make a reservation, but even without one, waits aren’t long. What we ordered: 🦐 Curry Prawns (Mother’s Day Special, $35) – rich and tasty, but a bit pricey for two prawns sliced into four pieces. Ask with a photo if it’s not on the menu! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ☕ Coffee Pork Belly – Yelp didn’t lie! Crispy, flavorful, not greasy, with a spicy dipping sauce. A must-try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🐮 Beef Skewers – tender and juicy. We ordered extra! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🍤 Pad Thai with Shrimp – perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Shrimp were just okay—next time I’ll swap for beef. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🥔 Beef Curry with Potatoes – mildly spicy, tender beef, though some found the sauce a bit thin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🥣 Tofu Tom Yum Soup – adjustable spice, decent but not standout. ⭐⭐⭐ 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice – fresh mango, soft sweet rice. A nice finish, though I was already full! ⭐⭐⭐ Their Thai iced tea is great too—give it a try! Our server was a sweet Thai auntie with limited English, so we ended up with a couple duplicates—no big deal, we took leftovers home. 😊 Also spotted a new Mamak Malaysian next door with 5-star Yelp reviews—already on my list for next time! 🍜✨ 🍴 Surina Thai 📍 2390 Chamblee Tucker Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341 #AtlantaEats #ThaiFood #FamilyMeal #FoodieFavorites #SurinaThai #ChambleeEats #SpicyAndSweet 🌿🍽️
