Atlanta|The Best Portuguese Egg Tarts Are Here! 🥧💛
After hearing so much about Hong Kong Bakery & Dimsum, I finally stopped by to see if their famous egg tarts lived up to the hype — and they absolutely did! Here’s my honest take on what I tried:😍 ⭐️ Portuguese Egg Tart The star of the show! The filling is incredibly smooth and creamy, with just the right level of sweetness. The crust is flaky and buttery — not tough at all. At $2.50 each, it’s a must-order. No complaints here! ⭐️ Sponge Cake Soft, spongy, and eggy — just like the classic version. It’s a bit on the dry side, so I’d recommend enjoying it with a glass of milk 🥛. Perfect for a simple breakfast.😒 ⭐️ Salty Water Dumpling (Ham Sui Gok) Looks impressive — large and golden — but it’s mostly hollow inside with very little filling. The shell was also harder than expected. Maybe smaller size + more filling would help! ⭐️ Pork Floss Bread A winner! Loaded with savory pork floss, moist, and not greasy. So moreish — I’d order this again in a heartbeat.💕 ⭐️ Hong Kong Milk Tea Starts off smooth and nostalgic, but ends up feeling a bit heavy and sticky in the throat. Not perfect, but still a decent sip of childhood memories. Didn’t get to try their dim sum this time — but definitely coming back for more. If you’re an egg tart lover, this place is worth the trip! #AtlantaEats #HongKongBakery #EggTartLove #PortugueseTarts #BakeryReview #AsianBakery #ComfortBakes 🧁🥛
