Atlanta | Korean-Authentic Cold Noodle Spot
I first heard about Sambong Noodles through recommendations from two different Korean friends, who praised it for its authenticity. 🍜👍 When I visited in June, the restaurant was filled with Korean locals—uncles, aunties, and grandparents—which always feels like a good sign! 👵👴 I ordered the spicy cold noodles, and my husband got the original version. Having never tried cold noodles in Korea myself, I can't speak to how authentic they are, but personally, I still prefer the version at Kechuan Jianghu. 😅 During that visit, I noticed the neighboring table enjoying oxtail soup and steamed dumplings, which looked absolutely delicious—and they've been on my mind ever since! 🌱❤️ Today, with the weather feeling a bit chilly, I decided to finally try that oxtail soup. The process here is to order and pay first before being seated. Inside, there's a large bucket of self-serve broth on the counter—unlimited refills! 🍲💦 I really enjoyed it; the broth had a strong, comforting pepper flavor. 🌶️✨ Condiments are also available for self-service. For the oxtail soup with brisket, you're encouraged to season it yourself with salt and pepper. The soup was packed with tender meat and felt incredibly warming on a cool day. 🥩🔥 We also tried the steamed dumplings—they were huge, with wonderfully chewy wrappers and a well-filled pork and chive filling. 🥟💚 Though the menu isn't huge, this place offers solid, homestyle Korean comfort food. If you're nearby and craving something hearty or refreshing (depending on the weather!), it's definitely worth a visit. 🏠🍽️ #AtlantaEats #KoreanFood #ColdNoodles #SambongNoodles #OxtailSoup #ComfortFood #AtlantaFoodie #AuthenticEats
