Atlanta | Korean Restaurant With Endless Menu Choices

A new Korean spot has opened near the Great Wall Supermarket in Duluth—Hwangso Gozip—and it’s full of surprises! 🎉🍽️ The menu here is impressively extensive, offering everything from spicy braised chicken feet, marinated pork belly, and stir-fried squid to Korean-style malatang (spicy hot pot)—proof that the malatang trend is still going strong in Korea! 🌶️🇰🇷 There’s even a “boiled pork hotpot” that visually gave off serious suan cai bai rou (Chinese pickled cabbage and pork) vibes—so intriguing! 🥘✨ I originally wanted my husband to order the malatang, but he accidentally chose the “Spicy Malatang Pasta.” Surprisingly, it wasn’t red at all, yet it carried a subtle Sichuan-style mala flavor, with a rich sesame sauce coating the noodles. It turned out to be unexpectedly delicious! 😋🍜 He also tried the naengmyeon (cold noodles)—it was okay, though in my opinion, not quite as good as the version at Kechuan Jianghu. 🥢❄️ The real standout was the beef soup—deep, savory, and incredibly comforting. 🥩🍲 A quick note on service: at lunch, it’s mostly self-service (order at the counter and pick up), while dinner offers full table service. ⏳👨🍳 Whether you're in the mood for classic Korean stews, trendy spicy noodles, or something comforting and hearty, this place has you covered. A great addition to Duluth’s Korean dining scene! 🙌❤️ 📍 Hwangso Gozip 2180 Merchants Way, Duluth, GA 30096 #AtlantaEats #KoreanFood #HwangsoGozip #DuluthEats #MalatangTrend #FoodieFinds #AtlantaFoodScene #KoreanRestaurant
