Atlanta | Nam Phuong: A Taste of Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine
🌟A few days ago, I met up with a good friend, and a few of my Vietnamese friends highly recommended Nam Phuong. There are two locations, and we visited the one in Chamblee. 4051 Buford Hwy NE Atlanta, GA 30345 United States 🌟Price: Five of us ordered nine dishes plus one dessert, and the total came to $120. We started with the Family Set for four people (five dishes, covering all the famous Vietnamese dishes), and then added four more snacks. Flavor: Although I haven’t had the chance to visit Vietnam yet, the food here definitely has more "wok hei" and a richer aroma compared to other places I’ve tried. Even my picky friends were very impressed, but of course, nothing beats home-cooked food, haha. 👉Bot Chien (Fried Rice Cakes with Eggs): The fried rice cakes are topped with egg batter and are incredibly fragrant! They taste great even without the sauce. 👉 Fish Sauce Chicken Wings: Friends who love strong flavors might enjoy this dish. The wings are flavorful, but I found them a bit too salty. They go well with rice. 👉 Sour and Sweet Fish Soup: Not recommended... This was the least favorite dish among us. The soup is supposed to be sour, but it seemed like they added a lot of sugar. It tasted like sugary water with a bit of lime juice, and the ingredients were seafood and tomatoes. It just didn’t work for us. #Atlanta #AtlantaLife #AtlantaFood #AtlantaEats
