Atlanta Eats & Drinks โ Chinese / Hunan Cuisine ๐ถ๏ธ๐
Thanks to @StoneMountainBro for the recommendation โ Wok Provisions in Dunwoody absolutely lives up to the hype! ๐๐ Taste: Extremely flavorful and seriously spicy โ just as authentic Hunan food should be! The โLittle Millet Chili Loves Young Chickenโ dish was tender, aromatic, and packed with heat. ๐๐ฅ The crispy stinky tofu was fried perfectly โ crunchy outside, soft inside, and less pungent than some versions. Stir-fried pork kidney with pebbles was clean-tasting with no off-flavors (I didnโt nibble the decorative stones, but they sure looked the part ๐). Garlic shoots with cured pork was savory and rich, while the osmanthus-glazed spare ribs offered a sweet, fragrant counterbalance. ๐๐ธ A standout was the salted egg yolk corn kernels โ chewy, savory, and so moreish! Maybe they use glutinous corn? Every dish was a winner, and I ended up polishing off a bowl and a half of rice. ๐๐ฅ Ambiance: Cozy, clean, and located in a large plaza with plenty of parking โ no stress finding a spot! ๐ ฟ๏ธโจ Service: Attentive and prompt with refills. The staff didnโt speak much Chinese, but ordering was smooth and hassle-free. ๐๐ If you love bold, spicy, and authentic Hunan flavors, Wok Provisions is a must-visit. Already planning my next trip back! ๐ฅขโค๏ธ #WokProvisions #HunanFood #AtlantaChinese #SpicyEats #StinkyTofu #AuthenticFlavors #DunwoodyEats #FoodieRecs #ChiliLovers #MustTryAtlanta
