Thanks to @StoneMountainBro for the recommendation — Wok Provisions in Dunwoody absolutely lives up to the hype! 😋🙌 Taste: Extremely flavorful and seriously spicy — just as authentic Hunan food should be! The “Little Millet Chili Loves Young Chicken” dish was tender, aromatic, and packed with heat. 🐔🔥 The crispy stinky tofu was fried perfectly — crunchy outside, soft inside, and less pungent than some versions. Stir-fried pork kidney with pebbles was clean-tasting with no off-flavors (I didn’t nibble the decorative stones, but they sure looked the part 😄). Garlic shoots with cured pork was savory and rich, while the osmanthus-glazed spare ribs offered a sweet, fragrant counterbalance. 🍖🌸 A standout was the salted egg yolk corn kernels — chewy, savory, and so moreish! Maybe they use glutinous corn? Every dish was a winner, and I ended up polishing off a bowl and a half of rice. 🍚💥 Ambiance: Cozy, clean, and located in a large plaza with plenty of parking — no stress finding a spot! 🅿️✨ Service: Attentive and prompt with refills. The staff didn’t speak much Chinese, but ordering was smooth and hassle-free. 😄👌 If you love bold, spicy, and authentic Hunan flavors, Wok Provisions is a must-visit.
