Atlanta Eats & Drinks – Udon 🍜✨
Looking for a quick and satisfying udon fix? Circle Noodle, the udon-focused sister shop of Circle Japanese Restaurant, is a solid pick in town! 🏮 Taste: Having never tried udon in Japan, my reference is Marugame Udon from Hawaii — and I actually prefer Circle’s broth here! It’s slightly sweeter and richer, with more topping choices. The pork udon leans sweet in both broth and meat. 🥢🍖 Another order was the hot pot-style udon (served in a clay pot) with added tempura — crispy, light, and way better than that new Japanese spot that opened recently. 🍤👍 The karaage chicken tasted housemade, lightly seasoned and perfect alongside the noodles. Ambiance: The shop is small and can feel warm in summer, but it’s clean and tidy. Seeing a health score in the 90s definitely adds to the peace of mind. 🧼💯 Service: Just one auntie running the floor — she sounded Japanese, and though my college Japanese is now limited to "hello" and "thank you," service was prompt and efficient. 🗣️⏱️ Didn’t expect Circle Noodle to be this reliable! Affordable, convenient, and tasty — though eating hot udon in summer did leave me sweating. Next time, I’m curious to try their cold udon! Have any of you given it a go? 🧊😋 #CircleNoodle #AtlantaUdon #JapaneseNoodles #UdonLove #ClayPotUdon #AtlantaEats #CasualDining #CleanEats #FoodFinds
