📍 Atlanta Eats | Cozy Udon Spot – Circle Noodle 🍜
Restaurant: Circle Noodle (Udon-focused sister shop of Circle Japanese Restaurant) Flavors: I haven’t had udon in Japan, but compared to Marugame Udon in Hawaii, I found Circle’s broth slightly sweeter, with more variety. 🐷 Pork Udon – Broth and pork both lean sweet, comforting and flavorful. 🍲 Hot Pot Style Udon – Served in a clay pot, we added tempura—crispy and well-fried, much better than another new Japanese spot we tried recently. 🍗 Karaage (Fried Chicken) – Lightly seasoned, likely housemade, perfect alongside udon. Ambience: The shop is small and can feel warm in summer, but it’s clean and tidy—saw a health score in the 90s, which is reassuring! ✅ Service: Just one auntie running the floor—Japanese accent, so likely native. My college Japanese is now basically “hello” and “thank you,” so not much conversation, but she was prompt with orders, water, and service. Didn’t expect to like Circle Noodle this much—affordable, convenient, and solid udon! Eating hot udon in summer made me sweat though… next time I’ll try cold udon—has anyone given it a go? 😅🍶 Circle Noodle 📍 Atlanta area #CircleNoodle #AtlantaUdon #JapaneseFood #UdonLover #ComfortFood #AffordableEats #CleanEats #CozySpot #SummerEats #ColdUdonNext #FoodReview #AtlantaEats #LocalEats #SimpleAndGood #WarmInSummer
