Atlanta Eats | Two More Visits to Sun Garden 🥢

Every time we go to Buford Top Golf, we end up at Sun Garden — it’s just that good! Recently went back twice and enjoyed so much I almost forgot to take photos 😅. Photos 1–4 are from this visit, photo 5 is from two weeks ago. Here’s what we tried this time: 🍲 Braised Goose in Iron Pot As mentioned in my last post — still amazing! This time, they added mushrooms, which brought a lovely earthy aroma. The goose was flavorful and tender. It’s an off-menu special — you have to ask the owner if they have goose that day! 🍜 Dry-Fried Ho Fun (Beef Chow Fun) A solid version in the eyes of my Cantonese friends — well-wok-fried, evenly seasoned, and the ho fun noodles had great texture. 🐟 Stir-Fried Fish Maw (two styles) We ordered the ginger-scallion version, but they accidentally made the spicy stir-fry — and ended up giving us both! The fish maw (fish bladder) was well-seasoned and delicious. We actually preferred the spicy version even more! 🐠 Crispy Fried Silver Fish A rare find on local menus — small fish coated in flour, fried till crispy, and lightly salted. So addictive! 🍜 Guilin Rice Noodles A comforting soup noodle with sour bamboo shoots, beef, and pickled beans — tangy and refreshing. 🥩 Couple’s Pleasure Someone at the table called it “the best version in the Atlanta area!” 🥬 Garlic Pea Shoots Fresh and lightly cooked — a simple but satisfying green. On previous visits, we also tried: 🌶️ Spicy Free-Range Chicken 🌶️ Chopped Chili Fish 🌶️ Boiled Beef in Chili Sauce I personally prefer non-spicy dishes, but my spice-loving friends loved these! 📍 Sun Garden 2700 Braselton Hwy #16, Dacula, GA 30019 #AtlantaEats #SunGarden #CantoneseFood #ChineseCuisine #OffMenuFaves #AtlantaFoodie #ComfortFood #EatLocalATL 🥡✨
