Atlanta Food Reviews: Midtown Edition 🍽️
It’s already been two months since I moved here! Sharing some real thoughts on local spots: 🇹🇭 26 Thai Kitchen Calamari, green papaya salad, green curry, and basil pork were all solid 👍 But the "Pineapple Boat" was a letdown — I expected pineapple fried rice, but it was just Panda Express-style stuff served in a pineapple... and worse than Panda Express 😅 🍚 Tin Drum Asian Kitchen Their Korean-style beef bowl really hits the spot — authentic vibes! Plus, you can use dining dollars here 💳 🍍 Pho King Their rice and pho were just okay, but the jackfruit smoothie was a revelation! Never tried a jackfruit drink before — the creaminess and flavor were perfectly balanced. The durian smoothie, though, tasted too artificial. 🍜 Xi’an Gourmet House Maybe I ordered wrong, but it felt pretty average — more like campus dining hall level. 🇰🇷 Pelicana Best Korean food I’ve had here so far! The army stew and fried chicken were great — but skip the sweet-spicy chicken flavor, it tasted a bit off. 🍰 Cafe Intermezzo Cozy vibe and the tiramisu cheesecake was delicious but way too sweet. Don’t go alone — I struggled to finish even with tea for an hour 😂 🇪🇸 Bulla Gastrobar Decent Spanish spot, but don’t follow the server’s recommendations! I tried the creamy pasta dumplings and… not good 🙅 🍆 Urban Hai Who’s actually recommending this place?! 😭 The eggplant dish was all skin and hard to chew. The “Mao Xue Wang” had weirdly creamy spam inside… This isn’t real Chinese food — more like American Chinese gone wrong. #InternationalStudentEats #MissHomeFood #FoodReview #Atlanta #Foodie
