Atlanta Michelin Restaurant | Bacchanalia ⭐

A long-time favorite in ATL — I first visited before they earned their star. Bacchanalia offers a refined four-course menu for $125 per person. Easy parking, intimate and dimly lit setting, and not too crowded on a weekday evening. 🍽️ 1st Course: Crab & Lobster The clear highlights of the night! Crab Fritter: Looks simple but is packed with fresh crab meat. Served with citrus segments and a tangy sauce — refreshing and delicious. Lobster: A generous half portion, perfectly cooked with a bouncy texture and light seasoning. Pure joy in every bite! 😊 🍽️ 2nd Course: Duck & NY Strip Duck: Rich and flavorful with a slightly spicy Chinese-inspired sauce. A bit too rare for my liking, making it chewy. NY Strip: Well-marbled, cooked medium, and tender. Came with fried potatoes mixed with beef marrow — so savory! Veggies: Cucumber slices (a bit bitter) and fried okra + eggplant (like tempura but just okay). 🍽️ 3rd Course: Cheese A puzzling but memorable experience! One dish featured burrata with pickled plums and toasted hazelnuts — surprisingly delicious! The other was warmed cheese with peach and honey crumble — overly rich and sticky. 🍽️ 4th Course: Coffee & Soufflé Coffee Dessert: Bitter coffee grounds + cocoa powder — intensely bitter 😣 Soufflé: Overly sweet Birthday Bonus: Bread pudding — light, creamy, and actually enjoyable! They also serve delightful bread and snacks throughout the meal. On the way out, don’t miss the fresh bread loaves available at the front — I happily took one home! #AtlantaEats #Bacchanalia #MichelinDining #FineDining #FoodReview #SpecialOccasion 🍷🧀
