Located in the heart of the tourist area of Kissimmee, 192 Crab & Lobster offers a charming dinner escape. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by warm wooden accents, cozy lighting, and an inviting atmosphere that feels both rustic and modern. The decor combines elements of the sea with contemporary art, creating a space that is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate.
Ambiance: The ambiance is perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic date night. The music in the background allows for easy conversation, and the layout provides a sense of privacy without feeling isolated. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Food: The menu features a wide variety of seafood options. For starters, we ordered the fried calamari, which was presented in a basket with two side sauces. The flavors were vibrant, and the textures complemented each other perfectly.
For the main course, we opted for the make your own seafood boil. Inside the boil bag was 1/2 lb each of clams, muscles, shrimp, and sausage. There were also two corn husks and potatoes, all mixed with a juicy garlic butter medium cajun sauce.
Overall Experience: 192 Crab & Seafood delivered on all fronts: delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. While it’s slightly on the pricier side, the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes justify the cost.
Whether you’re a local or one of the many tourist just passing through, 192 Crab & Seafood is worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal in a visually appealing setting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their...
Read moreMy family didn’t have a good experience here. The snow crab legs were very hollow with very little crab meat inside. We did speak to the manager about this issue and his response wasn’t very pleasant. We told him about the issue, he left and never returned to the table. He also didn’t communicate anything with our waitress. She had to go get him, and when he returned saying that “he reviewed the cameras and everything looked fine.” His statement said everything that we needed to know: He does not care about serving quality seafood and he cares about the money. After a bit more probing, he then said if there was an issue we should have set the crab legs aside and then they would remake the part that wasn’t right, down to a literal single crab leg (not cluster). That’s how cheap he is. If one crab leg is bad, you get one crab leg remade smh. What’s sad is that we spoke to our waitress about the lack of crab inside of the crab legs and she was nonchalant about it and didn’t share the “policy” that the manager stated. She also proceeded to say she was not aware of this policy. To make a long story short, I think she tried to put up a front like she didn’t know when my gut says she is also a part of the problem.
With the amount of money this establishment makes, this situation is a shame. My review won’t stop their business, but if you really care about the quality of your food for the price you are paying, think twice before coming here. We really don’t know where the many positive reviews come from. Trust me, we made the mistake so you don’t have to. Ignore wherever you see on socials about the place. This ain’t it - especially not for your hard...
Read moreWe've been here twice, and honestly, this may be our new goto for seafood boils. The flavor, the price, the service, and the food are cooked to perfection. As you see, my teenager was eating like there was no one around, lol. It also has been busy both times we went, but it was never a long wait. Our server, wish i could remember her name, was the absolute sweetest. We love it here, and we'll definitely be back. I'm glad I found you 192 ❤️
Update 2/23/45, we came here probably an hour and a half before they closed. I think this was the first time we actually ever had to wait to be seated. Wasn't a long wait, maybe a little over 5 minutes. For some reason, it was freezing. Thank God I wore a jacket because it was a little cold outside. It was much colder in the restaurant. We were seated and didn't wait too long to be greeted by our waitress, Melanie, I believe her name was. The servers are always super sweet and attentive. She took our order, and the drinks and food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the 192 festival, as we always do, with 192 seasoning, extra hot. This time, though, the taste was off. My daughter said the mussels tasted funny but I ate everything, we were waiting to eat this all day. After we paid, my youngest daughter felt nauseous immediately. She actually went to the bathroom and threw up before we left. I, on the other hand, couldn't go to bed until almost 3am because the bathroom and I became best friends and the same thing for this morning. I just took off a star because we've been here a few times and never had an issue. Now I'm just not sure if we'll ever...
