Atlanta Travel Diary (Part 2) πβ¨
Right across from the aquarium is the π World of Coca-Cola π₯€! We started by exploring the history of Coke and its legendary secret formula β super interesting. On the first floor, thereβs a beverage lab where you can create your own drink. The system tells you which machine number on the second floor to try it from β donβt forget to go upstairs and taste your creation! On the second floor, you can take photos with the polar bear π»ββοΈ, visit the scent experience room, and of course β the tasting zone! Gotta say, some flavors from around the world areβ¦ interesting π . The π¨π³ flavor is sour plum tea, which I really liked, but the foreigners next to me were all making sour faces π. The gift shop is also fun β I bought a Coke-shaped thermos. Guess what Iβll put in it β hot water or ice-cold Coke? π After Coke World, just cross the street to reach π Centennial Olympic Park ποΈ. Itβs not very big β good for a quick photo. Thereβs a Ferris wheel across the street too! At night, the streets are filled with horse carriages π playing music β such a vibe! Day 3οΈβ£ βοΈ Started at Krog Street Tunnel π¨ and walked north along the BeltLine Trail. βοΈ Explored The Krog Street Market historic district β lots of food spots, street art, and installations. βοΈ Near Shake Shack, there are four cool metal monster sculptures β great for photos! πΎ βοΈ Found scooters near Brash Coffee π΄ β rented one and cruised slowly along the BeltLine to Ponce City Market (speed limit enforced!). βοΈ Ponce City Market is a retro industrial-style building π: food stalls on the first floor, boutiques on the second, and Skyline Park on the roof with amazing city views! βοΈ Continued north β passed graffiti chairs and Tiny Door #6 πͺβ (perfect photo ops!). βοΈ Scootered all the way to Piedmont Park β during Memorial Day weekend, there was a 3-day jazz festival π· with lots of food and craft stalls. βοΈ Then headed to Atlanta Botanical Garden πΈ β loved the Alice in Wonderland topiary sculptures! Followed the map and took tons of photos πΊοΈπΈ. π½οΈ Food & Drinks: π Tedβs Montana Grill A chain steakhouse specializing in bison π β super tender and much better than what I had in Jackson! π Mary Macβs Tea Room A historic spot serving classic Southern comfort food ππ₯§. π Jang Su Jang Korean restaurant in Duluth β their spicy braised short ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and flavorful! π°π·π₯ π Nateβs Tea Just okay and a bit pricey (coming from a boba expert from Southern California π§πβοΈ). π βI got my peaches out in Georgiaβ¦β π Pro tip: Look for white peaches #4401 and yellow peaches #4404! #Atlanta #TravelDiary #TravelGuide #USATravel
