Atlanta Travel Diary (Part 2) πŸ“–βœ¨

Right across from the aquarium is the πŸ“ World of Coca-Cola πŸ₯€! We started by exploring the history of Coke and its legendary secret formula β€” super interesting. On the first floor, there’s a beverage lab where you can create your own drink. The system tells you which machine number on the second floor to try it from β€” don’t forget to go upstairs and taste your creation! On the second floor, you can take photos with the polar bear πŸ»β€β„οΈ, visit the scent experience room, and of course β€” the tasting zone! Gotta say, some flavors from around the world are… interesting πŸ˜…. The πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ flavor is sour plum tea, which I really liked, but the foreigners next to me were all making sour faces πŸ˜–. The gift shop is also fun β€” I bought a Coke-shaped thermos. Guess what I’ll put in it β€” hot water or ice-cold Coke? πŸ˜‰ After Coke World, just cross the street to reach πŸ“ Centennial Olympic Park 🏞️. It’s not very big β€” good for a quick photo. There’s a Ferris wheel across the street too! At night, the streets are filled with horse carriages 🐎 playing music β€” such a vibe! Day 3️⃣ βœ”οΈ Started at Krog Street Tunnel 🎨 and walked north along the BeltLine Trail. βœ”οΈ Explored The Krog Street Market historic district β€” lots of food spots, street art, and installations. βœ”οΈ Near Shake Shack, there are four cool metal monster sculptures β€” great for photos! πŸ‘Ύ βœ”οΈ Found scooters near Brash Coffee πŸ›΄ β€” rented one and cruised slowly along the BeltLine to Ponce City Market (speed limit enforced!). βœ”οΈ Ponce City Market is a retro industrial-style building 🏭: food stalls on the first floor, boutiques on the second, and Skyline Park on the roof with amazing city views! βœ”οΈ Continued north β€” passed graffiti chairs and Tiny Door #6 πŸšͺβœ… (perfect photo ops!). βœ”οΈ Scootered all the way to Piedmont Park β€” during Memorial Day weekend, there was a 3-day jazz festival 🎷 with lots of food and craft stalls. βœ”οΈ Then headed to Atlanta Botanical Garden 🌸 β€” loved the Alice in Wonderland topiary sculptures! Followed the map and took tons of photos πŸ—ΊοΈπŸ“Έ. 🍽️ Food & Drinks: πŸ“ Ted’s Montana Grill A chain steakhouse specializing in bison πŸ‚ β€” super tender and much better than what I had in Jackson! πŸ“ Mary Mac’s Tea Room A historic spot serving classic Southern comfort food πŸ—πŸ₯§. πŸ“ Jang Su Jang Korean restaurant in Duluth β€” their spicy braised short ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and flavorful! πŸ‡°πŸ‡·πŸ”₯ πŸ“ Nate’s Tea Just okay and a bit pricey (coming from a boba expert from Southern California πŸ§‹πŸ’β™€οΈ). πŸ‘ β€œI got my peaches out in Georgia…” πŸ‘ Pro tip: Look for white peaches #4401 and yellow peaches #4404! #Atlanta #TravelDiary #TravelGuide #USATravel
