Boston → Rockport Half-Day Trip: Ultimate Guide ✨
Boston → Rockport Half-Day Trip: Ultimate Guide ✨ Guys! You can’t miss Rockport when choosing day trips near Boston! Take the Purple Line all the way to this coastal town, and enjoy food, drinks, shopping, and scenery all in one go—it’s such an amazing experience!🚗💨 🚇 Transportation Guide: Easy Peasy Getaway We took the 12:30 PM Purple Line directly to Rockport Station, and the whole ride was 1 hour and 15 minutes—no transfers, super hassle-free! You can even enjoy the scenery along the way, and before you know it, you’re at the beach—mood instantly lifts!😆 🦞 Stop 1: Roy Moore Lobster Company – A Must for Lobster Lovers! As soon as we arrived in Rockport, we headed straight to this famous lobster spot! It’s only around $25 per person—unbeatable value! The lobster is so fresh you can taste the ocean’s sweetness; every bite is full of tender, bouncy lobster meat—pure happiness!🦞 Heads up though: There are very few seats in the shop. We had to stand by the road to eat, but for this deliciousness, standing was totally worth it! After all, good lobster is hard to come by—totally worth it~ 🍦 Stop 2: The Ice Cream Store – Perfect for Cooling Down! After eating savory lobster, you need sweet ice cream to refresh your palate! Don’t miss this Ice Cream Store! The four of us ordered four different flavors, and we all agreed: the chocolate is rich and creamy, and the strawberry is sweet and tangy—these two are absolute winners, we loved them so much!🍓🍫 The other flavors are good too, but these two are foolproof—no misses! After eating, you’ll feel like your heart is filled with sweetness~ 🎁 Bonus: Treasure-Hunting in Handmade Jewelry Shops The town’s streets are full of hidden gem handmade jewelry stores—walk into any one, and you’ll find surprises! My friends bought lots of delicate crafts as souvenirs: hand-painted trinkets, handmade necklaces—each one is unique, meaningful, and beautiful, perfect for gifting or keeping for yourself~ ✨ Take your time browsing, and you can even chat with the shop owners— the town’s slow pace, it’s so healing~ 🏖️ Stop 3: Cape Hedge Beach – Photo Paradise! Our last stop was Cape Hedge Beach—the sea view here is breathtaking, every photo looks like a postcard!🌊 But a warning: The rocky paths by the sea are really hard to walk on. Make sure to wear comfortable, sturdy shoes, otherwise your feet will hurt a lot—don’t sacrifice comfort for beauty! Sit on the beach, feel the sea breeze, and watch the waves in the distance—all your worries will blow away, so relaxing~ 🚌 Return Trip: Timing is Perfect We took the 6:00 PM Purple Line back to Boston—this time is just right! If you want to explore more, you can take an earlier train. But from our experience, half a day in Rockport is more than enough: we ate, shopped, took photos, and our itinerary was full and satisfying!😌 Overall, this half-day trip from Boston to Rockport was amazing! We had delicious lobster and ice cream, visited cute shops, and enjoyed stunning sea views. Guys, hurry up and plan your trip—you won’t regret it! #BostonTravel#Rockport#CoastalTown#InternationalStudentTravel
