Burlington | After Skiing, Itโs Time for MEAT! ๐ฟ๐
Spent the holidays skiing in Stowe โท๏ธ and stayed in Burlington โ discovered two highly-rated restaurants that totally lived up to the hype! Delicious, affordable, and perfect for warming up after a cold day on the slopes. ๐น๐ท Istanbul Kebab House ๐ *175 Church St, Burlington, VT 05401* Lamb Kebab โ Look at those HUGE chunks of lamb! ๐ Simply seasoned, super tender, and zero gaminess. Two pieces were enough to fill me up! Shrimp Gรผveรง โ Sizzling shrimp with cheese served on a hot stone plate โ mix it with rice, and itโs like Turkish stone pot rice! The shrimp were incredibly crispy ๐ค and cooked perfectly. ๐ฎ๐ณ Laliguras Indian Nepali Restaurant ๐ *146 Church St, Burlington, VT 05401* Lamb Biryani โ Fragrant rice with tender lamb โ similar to Xinjiang-style lamb rice but with more spices. A must-order! ๐ Shrimp Tikka Masala โ Creamy tomato-based curry โ absolutely delicious with rice! ๐ ๐ฆ Veg Pakora โญ๏ธ Fried vegetable fritters โ crispy and tasty! Mango Lassi โญ๏ธ Sweet mango yogurt smoothie โ surprisingly good but a bit sugary. ๐ฅญ โจ Verdict: Both restaurants are great for Chinese taste buds! After skiing, all you want is to devour big portions of meat and carbs. ๐๏ธ๐ #SkiVermont #VermontFood #BurlingtonEats #BostonSkiing #Foodie #RestaurantReview #IndianFood #TurkishFood #AfterSkiFeast ๐ฟ๐
