Butcher and Rose Steakhouse in Columbus

🧁We tried Columbus' newly opened steakhouse, Butcher and Rose.We were seated by the window with a view of downtown Columbus. 🥩Before ordering, the staff asked about dietary restrictions, allergies, or lactose intolerance. Most dishes can be prepared lactose-free or dairy-free. 🍞Ladies must try The Rose cocktail! It has almost no alcohol taste, with a refreshing and abundant grapefruit aroma—I fell in love at the first sip! Appetizers: 🥨All pastries are baked in-house. The complimentary bread was incredibly delicious—soft, sweet, and slightly salty with a hint of sea salt at the bottom. A perfect balance of flavors! Dirty Tots (potato cubes) topped with caviar. ✨Main Courses: I ordered the Beef Wellington. The filling was slightly salty, but it was served with fresh bamboo shoots. My dad had the cod, which was surprisingly accompanied by two dumplings in a light miso broth. Dessert: 🍪American desserts are, as expected, very sweet—BUT!
