Café: This Is Gothenburg, Not Istanbul
🥧 Mosaik Konstcafé ☕️Brämaregatan 13, 417 03 Göteborg ☕️After bouldering with friends, we ducked into this corner café. Inside, maximalist décor bombards the eyes—every knick-knack competes for attention. 🧋The “fake” plants? All real, proof of the owner’s devotion. My friend swore we’d boarded a time machine to last century. Some tables are retro-fitted sewing machines, quirky and charming. A private corner is reserved for the staff themselves. 🧋They serve light meals and proper Turkish tea and coffee—note the cezve on each table. We only ordered two cappuccinos, 🧋which were solid. Quiet, cozy, and perfectly placed for a shopping-break chat, the café left us thoroughly satisfied. ☀️Enjoy the pure joy an afternoon tea can bring! If you have a sweet tooth, pair the pastries with coffee—the flavour balance is perfect, the richness never cloying. ☀️ My impression of Gothenburg used to be that it felt almost too pristine, almost boring, when I simply walked its streets. But the moment you step into one of those unassuming little shops, you’re instantly struck by how much love and care the owners pour into their tiny worlds. ☀️ they feel like a distillation of the best elements from every European city I’ve visited, refined further with Nordic precision, order, and each proprietor’s personal touch. #Gothenburg #Café #Sweden #SwedishLife #Europe
