Mosaik konstcafé — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Mosaik Konstcafé is a little oddity and hidden gem. Tucked away to the side of Kvilletorget in an old furniture/antique store, but when found like visiting a cosy living room. It’s Middle Eastern hospitality and food as it comes by. Large selection of your typical (and traditionally vegan) dishes, such as Hummus, Baba Ganous, Dollma or Fatoush and all of that to a very fair price point. Big winner is the Fatoush for being well-prepared, beautifully arranged and actual pomegranate sauce being used. But also the other dishes will really make you enjoy your feast.

The food was so so good! Really nice to order some varied meze to share. I got the small filled aubergines and the foul, while my partner got the egg with sausage and the muhammara. We got flat bread to share between the two. Overall the flavors were balanced, nice with sweetness and with plenty of sour as well. The dishes were also well decorated, I loved the tiny dots of hummus on my foul. Another thing is that overall it was very cheap...

I am so in love with this cozy place. We ordered mix plate with baba ganush, hummus and much more. The Coffee was traditional made.

I would recommend it if you are not sure what you want to order. The price is right and not expensive at all.

The owners are so friendly and talkative. Also LGBTQIA+ friendly. I would definitely recommend this place...
