FOOD: We had what might be the best deep-dish pizza we’ve ever tasted — rich, flavorful, and baked to absolute perfection! 🧀🍅 We also tried a thin-crust pie, and it was incredibly delicious too. And don’t even get me started on the Annette’s Cookie dessert… it was pure bliss! 🍪😍 SERVICE: We were totally surprised to be served by a local celebrity — the one and only “The Chach” or “Uncle Chach”! 🧓🙌 He’s been working at this restaurant for over 50 years — yes, you read that right! You can actually Google him — he’s that iconic. He treated us like family, shared amazing stories, and made our visit unforgettable. ❤️ VIBE: Walking in feels like stepping into a true old-school pizza institution 🏮📸. The walls are covered with hundreds of photos and memorabilia — each one telling a story of Chicago history and Chach’s legacy. PRICE: Our total came to over $100 including tip 💵, but every penny was worth it for the food, the experience, and the memories. FINAL VERDICT: We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Chicago — and we truly hope we get to see The Chach again!
