🌟 Charleston's Southern Charm ⭐️

🏨 The Palmetto Cafe at The Charleston Place Nestled inside The Charleston Place hotel, this café offers a delightful Sunday brunch buffet 🥘. The roasted chicken and prime rib were exceptionally flavorful, especially with their signature sauces! The service was warm and personalized—the staff even remembered our names 💁‍♂️💫. The sunroom setting, with sunlight streaming through the windows and casting gentle shadows, created a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. At $110 per person, it’s a bit on the pricier side 💸, but when combined with the AMEX FHR credit, the value becomes totally worth it! The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to walk to most Old Town attractions 🏛️. There are also several boutiques inside for some leisurely shopping. A special shout-out to the parking attendant who remembered my name even the next day—such a sweet touch! 🥳 🏨 Camellias & Gabrielle at Hotel Bennett Step into a blush-pink lounge that’s every girl’s dream 💖—yes, it was packed with ladies (lol!). Their truffle fries 🍟 were absolutely delicious, even when cold! The cauliflower risotto offered a unique and healthier twist. The service was impeccable, matching the excellence of The Charleston Place. Hotel Bennett’s rooms are elegantly designed, exuding that classic "old money" Southern charm. 🍽️ Circa 1886 Restaurant A highly-rated Southern restaurant with 4.8 stars on Google ⭐! The complimentary amuse-bouche was layered with flavors, and the warm soup served in tiny cups was a lovely touch 🥣. We thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad, asparagus risotto, and crispy pork belly—each dish was well-balanced and served promptly (I’m all for quick service!). The Lemon Fish 🐟 and Antelope 🦌, however, were less impressive. The fish had a firm, chicken-like texture, while the lean antelope was paired with sides and sauces that didn’t quite complement its richness. But dessert? The soufflé with lemon ice cream and blueberry sauce was heavenly 😋🍨! The strawberry mousse cake was just okay—a bit coarse in texture—but it made for a gorgeous photo 📸. ⛲️ Cypress Gardens A charming garden about 40 minutes from downtown. I was excited to try the boat ride 🛶 after seeing it all over social media, but they don’t take reservations—it’s strictly first-come, first-served. When we arrived on Sunday, there were already about 30 people in line 😮… so we decided to skip it. Maybe it was for the best, given the scorching heat! 🔥 #USATravel #LifeInTheUSA #Charleston #SouthernCharm#LuxuryDining #TravelGram #Wanderlust #FoodieAdventure 🌍✨
