Chicago’s Best Burger — Mott St 🍔
Mott St is one of Chicago’s early fusion pioneers — hadn’t been in a while. Recently had a free evening and remembered it’s usually easy to get into, so I dropped by. 🍔 Mott St Burger – Named one of Chicago’s best burgers by Infatuation. Called a smash patty, but it’s thicker than expected. The secret? Seafood aioli — a bit salty for my taste, but unique. Comes with crispy sweet potato sticks for crunch. ⚠️ Only available before 7 PM. 🍗 Whole Flavor Wings – Tastes like soy-glazed fried chicken — crispy, not overly battered, well-seasoned. 🦀 King Crab Rice Bowl – Not fried rice — fresh crab meat served separately over seasoned rice, with nori sheets for wrapping. Lets the crab’s sweetness shine. 🍹 Lychee Mocktail – A little too sweet for me. 🍶 Soju + Beer Combo – Happy hour deal: burger + soju + beer for $22 — solid value. 🍦 Monthly Ice Cream – This month’s flavor: whiskey — always worth trying. Backyard has free parking spots, and street parking is usually manageable. 📍 Mott St 1401 N Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 #MottSt #ChicagoBurger #AsianFusion #HappyHourDeal #KingCrabBowl #ChicagoEats
