Chicago’s Gorgeous Pork Bone & Potato Stew! 🍖

On a freezing sub-zero day, my friends and I drove up to Chicago’s northern suburbs. The moment we walked in, the aroma of simmering broth filled the air. The menu is small—focusing on just a few stews, blood sausage soup, and boiled pork—which I love. I’d rather trust a small family-run spot that does a few things really well than a place that does everything just okay.👌😁 We ordered the Pork Bone & Potato Stew, and it might be the best I’ve had in Chicago! The meat falls off the bone, tender and flavorful. You can even suck the marrow — a bite of meat, a sip of beer… pure bliss! 🍻 The broth is spicy and savory with a memorable kick—not too heavy, perfectly seasoned. You can tell it’s been simmered with care and time. Their rice is also excellent—chewy, pearl-like grains. Scoop some broth over it to make a comforting soup-rice, and on a cold winter day, that warm, soul-soothing bite is absolute heaven. 🍚✨ 📍 To Soc Chon #KoreanFood #ChicagoEats #PorkBoneStew #PotatoStew #ComfortFood 🥘
