Chicago’s Mediterranean Dining Heaven
I’ve tried quite a few Mediterranean spots in Chicago, and many friends recommended Aba. Finally made it — was wowed by the ambiance as soon as I walked in, and the food absolutely delivered. Probably the most delightful Mediterranean meal I’ve had recently! Today’s Menu 🍽️ 🧆 Crispy Short Rib Hummus Silky‑smooth hummus topped with crispy, sweet‑savory beef shreds. Served with fluffy, cumin‑scented flatbread — couldn’t stop dipping! 🌶️ Muhammara A tangy‑sweet surprise — bright, refreshing, perfectly balanced. Paired with crisp‑yet‑soft flatbread wedges. 🥔 Crispy Potatoes Outer shell like homemade potato chips, inside fluffy and dense. Simple seasoning, seriously satisfying, generous portion. 🍗 Chicken Kefta Heard the skewers could be dry, so went for these minced‑chicken meatballs. Infused with fresh herbs like chervil — juicy and flavorful. Served with a yogurt‑goat‑cheese sauce (avoid if you’re not into those flavors!). 🍹 Brunch Punch Herbal and citrus‑forward, fairly boozy, low sweetness — great if you like a crisp, adult beverage. 🍸 Thirsty Trap Bursting with fruit aromas, tangy and bubbly — like a lightly tipsy fruit soda. Very easy to drink. Key Details 📍 🍴 Restaurant: Aba 📍 Address: 302 N Green St 3rd Floor, Chicago, IL 60607 💰 Price: Around $80‑90 per person (including one drink). Overall, the flavors feel authentic — some dishes have pronounced spices that might be strong for some, but most are wonderfully balanced and aromatic. Perfect for brunch or a friends’ gathering. The space is gorgeous — great light, stylish decor, super photo‑friendly! 📸 What other great Mediterranean spots in Chicago do you recommend?
