Chicago’s New Italian Spot — Mano a Mano 🍝🇮🇹
Many of you have likely tried Asador Bastian or Andros Taverna — their chef, Doug, just opened a new Italian restaurant right next to his Greek spot in Logan Square this July! 🍑 Prosciutto, Cheese & Peach on Grilled Bread – A sweet-savory summer starter that hits all the right notes. 🦑 Fried Calamari – Bite-sized and extra crispy — almost too cute to eat! 🫒 Complimentary Bread with Olive Oil & Tapenade – Honestly better than the paid bread at many places. 🐰 Pappardelle with Braised Rabbit – Tender, flavorful rabbit over wide, handmade noodles — rich and satisfying. 🖤 Squid Ink Seafood Pasta – Sadly too fishy even for a seafood lover. Service was great though — they took it back and let me choose another pasta. 🍅 Spaghetti Pomodoro + Meatballs – Made with imported Italian pasta — simple, classic, and delicious. Added meatballs for extra heartiness. 🍮 Vanilla Panna Cotta – Decent but sweet — next time I’m trying their popcorn caramel gelato! Great service, solid pastas (stick to the non-seafood ones), and that Logan Square charm. Worth a visit if you’re nearby. 📍 Mano a Mano 2534 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647 #ManoAMano #ChicagoItalian #LoganSquareEats #HandmadePasta #ChefDoug #ItalianComfort
