Set to open in January 2026 in Wicker Park , Alley Cat is being launched by the new Tung & Cheek Hospitality Group, which consists of Derrick Tung, William R. Ravert, and Tony Dezutter. The trio has collaborated for years as owners, operators, and partners at the Paulie Gee’s locations in Logan Square and Wicker Park, and now they are showcasing their talents beyond their pizza restaurants. The Alley Cat is coming to Wicker Park -------------------------------------- The Alley Cat, which will be operated seven days a week , gets its name from the fact that the long, narrow building was constructed over an existing Chicago alley decades ago. The beverage program will feature a cocktail menu focused on classic drink s, priced at $14 or less; a specialized wine list; and spirit-free and THC-ready-to-drink beverage options. Embracing a “dive bar with a chef” mentality, the food menu will be limited to six to eight dishes, ensuring each dish is flawlessly executed.
