Chicago｜Belated Visit to Middle Eastern Cafe — OUD Coffee 🕌

Heard about this spot and its famous Dubai-style chocolates, but never made the trip just for coffee. Then, after grabbing pie at Blame Butter nearby, I searched for coffee to go with it — and OUD popped up. Perfect timing. ☕️ Oud Latte – A regular latte with a hint of warm cardamom — subtle, not overpowering, letting the coffee beans shine. Lighter than other Middle Eastern coffee spots in the city. 🍫 Dubai Chocolate – Truly delicious. Had a bite right at the cafe, then another at home — tasted different both times! On-site: the chocolate melted perfectly in the mouth, not in the hand. Filling was moist, rich, and super pistachio-forward. 🍰 Tiramisu – Pretty ordinary. Not the classic Italian style — though you could tell the ingredients were quality. I just prefer the traditional version. 🧁 Other pastries at the counter looked very sweet — probably need coffee to balance them out. Gotta admit: the Dubai chocolate is a standout. Drinks and other sweets felt average — maybe I ordered wrong?
