Chicago｜Eating Japanese Ramen in Tokyo

Went to Mitsuwa Marketplace’s food court last night but forgot my credit card 😅 Had to come back today for redemption! 🍃 Ambience: Typical food court setup—order, find a seat, wait for the buzzer, then grab your meal. 🧸 Spicy Miso Ramen Combo D ⭐⭐⭐ Looked better than it tasted. Noodles were on the firm side, broth wasn’t spicy enough—mostly just salty with limited depth. 🐷 Chashu was okay but not very fragrant. The braised pork rice looked messy and was cooked soft, but the seasoning felt one-dimensional. 🐙 Verdict: Not recommended. This Santouka location is one of the more popular stalls in the food court, but it’s just… average. Not terrible, but not delicious either.
