I rarely use the word “best” lightly, but in my heart, Kalbi is Chicago’s #1 Korean BBQ! The side dishes (banchan) are delicious, complimentary, and refillable! My favorites are the pickled radish and cucumber—so much better than store-bought kimchi, truly homemade and absolutely delicious 😭 The meat is super fresh. Tried the wagyu today—so good! Charcoal grilling is truly unbeatable.😂👌 The beef tongue is tender and springy—even non-tongue lovers will enjoy it. Seafood pancake is a must-try—crispy edges and fresh seafood with zero fishy taste.💕😊 🦪 Oyster Omelette — MUST ORDER!!! The oysters are incredibly sweet and fresh—nowhere else serves oyster omelettes this tender and flavorful. The beef tartare was just okay—worth a try on your first visit.
