Chicago|Incredibly Large Korean Pork Knuckle from Korea 🇰🇷
Craving Korean braised pork knuckles for so long — finally checked out Jokbal Night Market in the northern suburbs with friends. This place totally outshines downtown spots like Tak or H Mart for Korean pork knuckles — miles ahead 🌟 Great flavor, amazing value — under $90 for a combo pork knuckle + spicy pork trotter + potato pork bone soup, and it fed four of us until we could barely move. Rare to find deals like this in Chicago now. Recommendations: 🥢 Original Pork Knuckle Tender, perfectly cooked, no gamey taste, not greasy even after a lot. The dipping sauce is refreshing — my favorite of the night! 🌶️ Spicy Pork Trotter Sweet and spicy, super addictive. A bit spicy after a while though 🥵 🥘 Potato Pork Bone Soup First time trying gamjatang in Chicago — pleasantly surprised! Pork bones are fall-off-the-bone tender, perilla flavor on point. We ordered extra kimchi fried rice to stir into the leftover broth — carb heaven! 🍕 Kimchi Pancake Crispy, light, not oily. Kimchi has a nice tang — recommended! We were super satisfied — portions are huge. Four people couldn’t finish all this. If you’re a smaller group, just get the combo set — it’s more than enough. #Chicago #ChicagoEats #PorkKnuckle #KoreanPorkTrotter #Gamjatang #KoreanFood 🐷
