Chicago｜Maxwells Trading — Beautiful Meal, Great Value 💖

Finally tried this Chicago spot everyone says is worth revisiting! The interior is warm and spacious with cozy decor — I especially loved their big round tables, perfect for a family-style gathering. The food had hits and misses, but overall great value and fantastic vibe — still recommend! ✅ Prosciutto & Onocco Fritto My favorite — like a crispy fried pastry pocket with ham and jam. Seriously good. ✅ French Onion Dip Voted second favorite at our table — though to me it tasted like a fancy scallion pancake 😅 ✅ Pork Katsu Not too lean (as you can see from the photo) — juicy and flavorful. 👇 The rest were okay but not outstanding: 🍚 Claypot Rice If you love mushroom-forward flavors, you might like this.
