Michelin-recommended spot! 📍 1721 W Division St Ground Floor, Chicago, IL 60622 Shouting out Mama Delia — food was solid, but the service really stole the show! Starting with the food: overall not too salty — the highest praise from a Chinese palate for American dining 😉. 🥩 Tartar de Ternera – Crispy cracker base topped with tender beef tartare — so smooth and flavorful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🦐 Tortilla Vaga de Gambas Al Ajillo – Sweet, fresh shrimp over an omelette and potato chip base — delicious! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🐚 Vieiras XO – Scallops were incredibly tender and sweet. Green sauce was a tad salty for me, but still excellent. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🖤 Arroz Negro – The black squid ink paella I was most excited for… but sadly too salty, and the rice wasn’t great. Shrimp inside was good though. 🌟🌟 🍰 Tarta de Manzana – Tasted like cheesecake, nothing special — but it was complimentary for my birthday! So thankful 🙏 🌟🌟 What really won me over was the service. When we mentioned it was my birthday, our server made the whole experience feel special — constantly wishing me happy birthday, explaining dishes in detail, and surprising me with a free dessert with a candle 🕯️🎂. They even waited nearby, probably knowing I’d ask for a photo — so thoughtful!
