Chicago｜The Smith — Known for Seafood, and It Delivered 🦪

We ordered a pot of mussels — SO GOOD. My friend literally almost cried (okay maybe not literally but close 😂). The broth was milky white, savory, and just… comforting. Mussels were super fresh — tasted like fish soup with tofu and greens after a long simmer. Dish of the night, hands down. 🦪 Oysters weren’t as fresh as people say — but out of the five, there was one that was clean and delicious. The rest? Meh. 🍄 Truffle arancini — pretty average. Nothing special. 🦞 Pasta with lobster — pretty solid! 🍅 Tomato soup — meh. BUT the bread soaking at the bottom? Delicious. Garlicky, tomatoey, slightly charred.
