Chicago's Best Michelin Breakfast – Kasama 🥐
Finally got to try the world’s first Filipino restaurant to earn a Michelin star! By day, it's a breakfast/brunch spot (first-come, first-served). By night, it transforms into a fine dining experience (harder to book). I went for breakfast — the line was 2–3 hours long, so I placed a pickup order at 8:55 AM and skipped the wait (took it back to my hotel). They're famous for having some of the best pastries in the country. Here’s what I ordered: ⭐️ Longanisa, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich – $11.50 If you've seen The Bear — Sydney orders this at Kasama and adds hash browns. I did the same — so cheesy, crunchy, and flavorful 😍 ⭐️ Mushroom Adobo + Filipino Breakfast Combo – $18 each Came here for the Michelin-star garlic rice — and it did NOT disappoint! I got the mushroom version (felt like I’ve been eating too much meat lately) — so tasty! ⭐️ Iced Matcha Latte + Iced Ube Latte – $6.50 each ⭐️ Pastries: Apple hand pie, chocolate croissant, and ube huckleberry basque cake – $6.50–$9.00 #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #KasamaChicago #MichelinBreakfast #FilipinoFood #FoodieHeaven
