Chicago | A Hidden Gem for a Romantic Date with Fireworks Views! 💖
📍 Located in the heart of downtown Chicago at the Willis Tower, this restaurant is helmed by James Beard Award-winner Jonathon Sawyer, specializing in wood-fired cuisine. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised to find an open kitchen where you can see the flames dancing, giving off a very primal, smoky vibe! 🔥 The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view of Chicago’s city lights at night. The unique lighting enhances the ambiance, making it incredibly romantic!✨ Dishes: Oyster Duet: Oysters served two ways—half chilled and half wood-fired. The contrast of textures is fascinating! Caviar: The portion is very small but exquisitely presented. The cream is smooth, though it slightly masks the delicate flavor of the caviar. Wood Fired Filet of Beef: The steak is perfectly cooked to Medium Rare! The chef grills it right in front of you over an open flame. It’s a must-try and, in my opinion, outshines many other steakhouses. The accompanying potato cake is also delicious! Lobster Lover’s Risotto: The lobster and seafood in the risotto are incredibly tender. While the seasoning is quite standard, the shrimp is so succulent that it bursts with flavor in every bite. A great choice for seafood lovers! 🦞 #AmbianceRestaurant #PanoramicViewRestaurant #StudentLife #FrenchCuisine #RomanticDining
