Chicago | An N-Time Favorite “Cafeteria-Style”

Whenever we’re planning a gathering and craving meat, this place is always on the list — my go-to hidden gem for Korean BBQ! 💎 💰 Perfect for students — the best value Korean BBQ in downtown Chicago. After a long study session, feasting here is so satisfying 😌. If you don’t want to go all the way to K-Town but still want a chill vibe, meat-filled meal, and great prices, Iron Age is the spot! It’s where we always arrive hungry and leave beyond satisfied 🥓✨. The music is lively, lighting is cozy, and it’s great for hanging out with friends or unwinding on weekends. Super popular and weirdly photogenic too 😋. I’m usually an introvert, but the vibe here turns me into an extrovert with friends! 🕒 They never rush your order — no time limit for AYCE (all-you-can-eat)! Service is solid, and I love all four dipping sauces — staff refills them promptly. Must-try: Cheese corn and steamed egg paired with grilled meat — layers of flavor! Also love their salad tossed lightly in gochujang — perfect for cutting through the richness. 🍽️ Lunch: $20+ | Dinner: $30+ (more seafood options at dinner) 🌟 Iron Age 📍 Multiple locations in and around Chicago — just search for the one nearest you! I personally prefer the Milwaukee Ave spot (feels cozier and more lively). 💡 Tip: It can get busy during peak hours, so try to go off-peak if you don’t want to wait long. I’m back in Chicago — ready to grab more foodie friends and explore new spots! Want me to check out somewhere new?
