Chicago | Apolonia 🍽️

I visited Apolonia recently, and overall, it’s pretty decent for Chicago standards! 🫓 Truffle Flatbread – Really tasty! The bread is crispy without being oily, and the truffle flavor comes through nicely. 🐟 Fish Dish – Cooked perfectly tender with well-balanced seasoning. I just wasn’t a huge fan of the tangy sauce underneath—kinda didn’t get it. 🍝 Tomato & Pork Pasta – The pasta itself had a great chewy, slightly sticky texture that I loved. But unfortunately, the pork had that strong “American pork” taste… even with all the tomatoes, that gaminess still came through. Might’ve just been my luck though. 🍨 Pistachio Dessert – Pistachio ice cream + candied pistachios + pistachio paste + pistachio cake. As a pistachio lover, I was in heaven! Just a heads up—the pistachio paste had a slight almond-like note, so avoid it if that’s not your thing.
