Chicago | Gyu-Kaku: A $20 Lunch Deal That's Super Worth It ๐ฅฉ๐ฆ
๐I came to Chicago from Madison to handle my visa, and I couldn't miss out on some good food while I'm here. Last time I was here with friends, we went to Gyu-Kaku for the all-you-can-eat dinner. Today, I discovered that their lunch set is just $15.95 or $19.95โit's such a great deal! ๐It's also less crowded at lunch, so you don't have to wait for a table, and the service is quick. ๐We ordered two $19.95 sets, which allowed us to choose six different types of meat (see photo 5). We picked a mix of beef and pork. We ordered shrimp, but it got mixed up and we got something else instead. We upgraded our rice bowls to beef fried rice (+$5) and garlic fried rice (+$2). ๐The food was as delicious as alwaysโway better than what we have in Madison. Special shoutout to the beef fried rice (although my friend said it was a bit greasy). The portions were generous, and we even had some leftovers. The total for two people, including tax and tip, was $60. On a side note, I have to complain about the Chicago VFS visa center. I had an appointment to submit my documents today, but the office was closed without any notice or rescheduling. I'm so frustrated! ๐ก #BBQ #StudentEating #StudentEats
