Japanese food in downtown Chicago is either crazily expensive or just not that great… But near Mitsuwa Marketplace (close to the airport), there are several hidden gem Japanese spots!🙌👍 Kaido’s seasoning is on point, and the ingredients taste even fresher than those at downtown omakase spots that cost $100–200!😁👌 Highly recommend their omakase sets—we tried the Jack Set and King Set, and every piece of sashimi was super fresh! (Only the sweet shrimp was just okay.) Their à la carte menu feels a bit more Americanized to me, so I’d stick with the omakase.😍❤️ Every dish was delicious with no disappointments—left feeling fully satisfied!
