Chicago | Legally Crab Claws Only π¦βοΈ
Joeβs Seafood Visited the Chicago location four times in two weeks π β Iβm seriously obsessed with Stone Crab! In the U.S., stone crabs are a protected species. By law, only the claws can be harvested β the whole crab cannot be killed or eaten. Fishermen carefully remove one claw and release the crab, which regrows a new one after molting. We got the largest size available that day: Large β 10 claws for $189.90. The meat was plump, firm, and naturally sweet. Their mustard sauce is also a favorite β tangy and aromatic without being overpowering, perfectly highlighting the crabβs freshness. π½οΈ Cape Scallop β daily special. Not much to look at, but highly recommended! $42 for a small portion β tender, sweet, with clean oceanic flavor. Simple prep lets the quality shine. π Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms β a must-order every visit. Mushrooms soaked in buttery, cheesy goodness, with garlicky spinach filling β so rich and delicious. π΄ Three Course Lunch Menu β $42 for appetizer, main, dessert. π¦ͺ Appetizer: Summer Side Oysters (4) β fresh, briny. π₯© Main: +$20 for 8oz Filet Mignon β standard U.S. steakhouse filet. π° Dessert: Havana Pie β okay cake, cream was a bit sweet. #Foodie #ChicagoRestaurants #ChicagoEats #StoneCrab #SeafoodLover #CrabClaws
