Chicago | Mister Tiger: The New Korean Spot in Town đ
Lately, there's a place in West Loop called Mister Tiger that's been making waves. All my friends have been raving about it. The only downside? The operating hours are super short, and reservations are a mustâno walk-ins allowed! Today, I finally got a reservation and had to see what all the fuss was about. The ambiance is pretty coolâvery Korean and trendy. Itâs not your typical, stuffy place. Here, the staff is all young and attractive. Haha! đ The restaurant has been open for about six months, but they're still using their soft-opening menu. If youâre ordering, Iâd recommend their Short Rib. Itâs $35 for a small bowl, but trust me, itâs worth it. The short ribs are braised to perfectionâtender, flavorful, and practically falling off the bone. It must have been simmering for hours. đ Their fried chicken is also solid, but Iâm a big fan of their pickled radish. đ A bite of radish followed by a bite of fried chickenâitâs a perfect pairing! Overall, the place is pretty decent. Itâs not mind-blowing, but itâs definitely not bad either. Itâs a great spot to grab some Korean food and drinks with friends on the weekend. Mister Tiger Hours: Wednesday to Saturday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations only, no walk-ins. đ żď¸ Street parking only #GlobalVillageFoodieContest #AmericasPartyCorner #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFood #ChicagoEats #WeekendEats #WeekendAdventures #LocalRecommendations
