Chicago | Real Fruit Italian Ice — Miko‘s Italian Ice 🍧

Compared to rich, creamy ice cream, I don’t usually eat Italian ice very often. But there’s one big exception: Miko’s Italian Ice! ❄️ There are quite a few shops in the city that sell Italian ice, but this place truly stands out—they honestly display all their flavors and cup sizes right at the window (see Image 2)! 🪟 Plus, they offer free samples of any flavor you’d like to try. Even with a small cup, you can pack in at least two flavors. For example, in Image 1, I got mango and passion fruit—the combination was tangy, sweet, and super fruity! I could even taste real chunks of mango. 🥭✨ The shop offers walk-up window service, but you can also sit on benches along the street and enjoy your treat slowly. 🪑 Where’s the proof that they use real ingredients? Just look at the bees around the trash bin in the last photo—even the little creatures can’t resist, and they don’t lie! 🐝😂 Miko’s has two locations in Chicago; I visited the Irving Park branch: Miko‘s Italian Ice (Irving Park):4125 N Kimball Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 What’s your favorite summer treat?
