Chicago | Returning to Perilla Steakhouse 🥩
Last time at Perilla Steakhouse, I tried their Korean-style brunch. This time, I was invited back by the owner to experience their dinner menu! 🍽️ 🐟 Complimentary Salmon Tartare – Marinated salmon topped with smoked salmon roe. The twist? It’s served on a crispy roasted seaweed cracker—so crunchy and flavorful! 🍧 Mango Shaved Ice – Not your typical Korean bingsu—this is more like a sorbet! Topped with a caramelized layer, the slight tartness of the mango balances perfectly with the sweet crunch. Refreshing and unique! ❄️ 🌟 The Best Part: Steakhouse Sets! One of the highlights here is the ability to order steak sets, letting you try different cuts or types of steak in one go. Each set also includes: Korean banchan (side dishes) Japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) Fresh salad 1 free side dish of your choice: steamed egg, truffle fries, grilled short ribs, roasted mushrooms, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cheesy corn, or kimchi fried rice! 🧀 My Sides: Cheesy Corn & Steamed Egg Both arrived sizzling hot in stone bowls! The cheesy corn had a spicy kick to it—so addictive. The steamed egg was fluffy and comforting. Perfect pairings with steak! 🔥 💬 Overall, a fantastic dinner experience—great food, warm hospitality, and that sizzling stone bowl magic! #PerillaSteakhouse #ChicagoSteakhouse #KoreanFusion #SteakLovers #ChicagoDining
