Chicago Allis | Instagram-Worthy Retro Brunch ☕️

The decor is exquisite from every angle—perfect for those looking to capture some great photos! I heard from friends that cameras aren’t allowed, but since we were quick, we didn’t get caught. Still, it’s probably best to stick to your phone for photos. The place is super popular on weekends. I had a reservation for 12 p.m., but I barely made it, even though I got up early. I missed the 15-minute grace period and had to join the waitlist on the spot. Fortunately, I only waited about 20 minutes and got a table by the window! The French retro-style interior is really unique. There are also lots of guests coming and going from the Soho House, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Everyone seems to be enjoying a leisurely chat. 🥛 Since I had coffee at home, I opted for two smoothies. I highly recommend the yellow one—I can’t remember the name, but it’s the one with dates. It’s so flavorful that you’ll keep sipping it. 🍅 Shakshuka: I had my heart set on this before coming. As someone who loves runny eggs, I thought it was great, especially with the crispy sourdough on the side. 🥚 Truffle Omelet: I added mushrooms and spinach for a healthy twist, but it was pretty standard. 🍟 Truffle Fries: The truffle flavor is quite strong, and the dipping sauce is a nice touch. Overall, don’t expect gourmet food. It’s more about the experience and the environment. The dishes are what you could easily make at home, but that’s part of the charm. I’ll definitely be back to try the ricotta pancakes and their afternoon tea! #Chicago #ChicagoBrunch #ChicagoRestaurants
