Chicago Bar Recommendation
Every time I passed Gus' Sip & Dip, there was a line out the door — I always wondered how good it could be. Then I saw its Google rating: 4.9 — couldn’t resist! We couldn’t get a reservation, so we walked in at 5:30 PM on Friday and waited about 1 hour 20 minutes for a two-top… But after tasting the drinks, we agreed: Totally worth it! Today’s Menu 🍜🥘🥗 📌 Crab Rangoon Dip – Creamy, cheesy crab dip with crispy wonton chips — savory, rich, and addictive! 📌 Black Truffle Grilled Cheese – Perfect bar snack. Intense truffle aroma, and dipping it in the tomato soup on the side was heavenly. 📌 Brandy Wisconsin Old Fashioned (right) – Bright citrus notes, smooth with a gentle boozy finish. 📌 Hawaii Style Mai Tai (left) – Coconut-forward with an eggnog-like creaminess — tropical and sweet, lower in alcohol. 📌 Hemingway Daiquiri – Beautifully tangy and fruity — highly recommended for sour lovers! 📌 French 123 – Light, floral sweetness, not too strong. 📌 Milk Punch – Fresh and smooth, but you definitely taste the alcohol — a great final drink! 📌 Naked and Famous – Richer fruit flavor, moderate alcohol.
